Eye Bagel Your Pardon

Paper Girls Challenge #54
Papparazzi
Erica is challenging us to use cameras on our projects.
I just happen to have some brand new American Crafts paper and a super silly photo.
~ eye BAGEL your pardon ~
I traced my clear alpha onto packaging, roughed the back with a fingernail file, inked with pigment ink, used a heat tool to dry and "curl" the letters, then attached with hot glue.
I slipped a journal card behind the photo mat with a heart tab as a pull string.

Paper:American Crafts, Glitz, Darice

Ink:Color Box

Welcome to the Turtle Soup Blog Hop
We've got lots of Spring inspiration as well as prizes so make sure you stop by each blog.
Here are the details:

~ Sweet Happiness ~
The sketch I followed for this tag called for a diagonal striped design. I decided to go for something a little different and made a shaker with three compartments. The bicycle reminds me of the sweet freedom I felt as a kid while I was riding around. Once Spring hits and the snow melts, out come the bikes!!!

Embellished Apron

May Arts Ribbon Retro Color Craft Challenge

When the Ribbon Lady announced the latest theme I decided to embellish a black, pin striped apron. I was THRILLED to be chosen to participate.
Once again I was sent four lovely shades of ribbon.
After a little stitching and gathering I had an assortment of Ribbon Roses. I attached them in a strand with bead or brad centers.
To keep my new arrangement in good condition I added jump rings at either end and in the middle. Then I used safety pins to hold it to the apron.
I love the bright contrast of the orange ribbon against the black apron.
Now I'll have to actually do some cooking!!!
Stop by the May Arts Blog and see what every one else did!!!
