Paper Girls Challenge Blog Hop

Time for another blog hop!
This time our theme is hand made flowers.
I've been playing around with a simple formula for making one piece accordion flowers. I think I finally have the ratios right!!!
Here are the directions:
Step 1:Cut a 4 inch circle from cardstock.
Step 2:Score your circle into 16ths as shown in box 1 and box 2
Step 3:Cut a 1.5 inch circle out of the center.
Step 4:Bunch center of the circle together to create an accordion flower, secure with adhesive. I use hot glue which looks a tad messy so I add a paper circle on top.
Supplies:
Paper:DCWV and Echo Park
Trim:May Arts
Doily:Stash

Our blog hop prize this round is a set of dies and a 2.5 inch xyron!

Drill #6 is up today on the SWAT blog! Come see the sketch and how each of our designers interpreted it!
~ Florence by Night ~
I'm kind of stuck on these old photos and this was a great sketch to do several at once.
The carousel and the street performers gave Florence a carnival feel, even late at night! We loved that all the stores were open late and we could enjoy strolling through the streets at any hour.

Winter just doesn't want to let go of North Dakota this year! I spent Monday morning snowed in but I had my scrapping supplies to keep me busy. I decided on a lighthearted card with just a touch of romance for the days project. When I found this sweet image in the Le Cirque collection I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. Stop by the Just Imagine/Kreaxions blog for a link to the punch I used.

Kiwi Lane Designs Blog Hop!!!

Hey ladies. Here is a new shiny Blog Hop graphic that you can use on your blog posting if you wish. :)
Woop Woop!!! So excited to be a part of this months Kiwi Lane Designs Blog Hop!
Not only do I get to work with their FABULOUS product...I get to keep it!  :) Which is a good thing since I got GLUE all over it! Yep, the old fashioned Elmers kind!
~ lovin' my new SHADES ~
 I received the Chestnut Drive designer templates for my project. After playing around with them for a few days I realized they looked EXACTLY like fingernail tips with an AWESOME mani! So I traced and cut my border strips, then slid the KLD template down half an inch and painted the tip with Elmers. After sprinkling liberally with glitter I left my border strips to dry. Here comes the best part...I threw my templates right in the kitchen sink and added a squirt of dishsoap, to clean them off! {We ain't too proud, folks.}
Here are the templates I received:
Chestnut Drive
Stacks Image 3301.
Sadly, the photo just doesn't show my pretty fingernails well enough. I'll have to give you another peek:
But enough about me..what about you? Did you know that a random winner from ONE of the 10 blogs (including the Kiwi Lane blog), will be given a $25 gift certificate to the Kiwi Lane Shop, for leaving a comment. That's right, start commenting! Here's the order of the blog hop:
